The north coast on a quad

Around Aruba Tours runs its north coast route on single and double ATVs: Philip's Animal Garden, Alto Vista, the Baby Bridge, the Bushiribana ruins and a swim at Andicuri Beach. Pick it if you want the most hands-on ride, with a helmet included.

ATV Tour in Single or Double Quads

About this experience

It's the same company and nearly the same day as our pick, the 2 to 5 seater UTV tour, on a quad instead. You start at Philip's Animal Garden and feed the animals, then ride Alto Vista, the Baby Bridge, Wariruri Bay, the Bushiribana ruins, 15 minutes at Andicuri Beach, the Tripod Bridge and Black Stone Beach. The ATV listing also names the Ayo rock formations as a pass-by.

It's $109 per person, with a bandana, a helmet and soft drinks included; the UTV listings on this site don't list helmets. A double quad carries a passenger, who must be at least 6. Drivers are 18+ with a licence.

A quad is harder work than a UTV. One guest who rode solo on a quad while others were in UTVs called it "definitely a challenge" and said turning was tough. The terrain is "highly rugged and rough", in the listing's own words. As with every ATV and UTV tour, Arikok National Park and the Natural Pool are off limits.

  • Single or double quad
  • Helmet, bandana and soft drinks included

What guests say

★★★★★

Got to see the northern part of the island full of cacti and rocks which was an unexpected surprise as our first time in Aruba. The animal farm was neat at the beginning. I got to feed a camel! Great tour, great time!

  • A double quad takes a passenger aged 6 or older.
  • Not for back or joint problems: a guest wrote the rocky terrain is no place for them.
